My mom started college in fall of 1948 and my dad came in January of 1949 and attended summer school. They started dating during the summer and were both Sophomores at JBU when married on December 17, 1949. My dad's parents dropped them off on Mt Gaylor for their honeymoon and they rode the bus back to JBU. I was born on John Brown University campus September 21, 1950 since Siloam Springs, AR did not have a hospital.
